Nikon D60 Cont’d - 31/365

31/365

I can’t believe that I’m bored right now, but that’s beside the point. I took out my Nikon D60 out of its box today, and I believe I took longer time on putting the strap on than actually playing around with the camera because the battery life was running low already. I know, right? The weight difference is incredible, too. The COOLPIX P80 is unbelievably light compared to the Nikon D60. And to tell you the truth, I want to keep both digital cameras with me, but I don’t know how to say it to my dad. My mom, on the other hand, understood why before I even got the DSLR.

My First DSLR: Nikon D60 - 30/365

30/365

I guess you can say the biggest highlight of my day is that I got my first DSLR camera, which is a Nikon D60. It was in between a D40 or a D60. I didn’t know what to choose because I’m not familiar with DSLR cameras, but my dad went for the D60 because it had more megapixels. See, I’ve told some of you that my dad doesn’t really know much about cameras. Anyway, I still haven’t taken apart the camera from its box to see how is it like yet. It’s crazy that I have a DSLR camera now, though. I kind of want to give my dad the COOLPIX P80, but I just started getting used to it, and it’s handy. But how greedy does it make me sound if I said I wanted to keep it, too?

Printed Photos - 29/365

29/365

Every week or so, I have to print out my photos and submit it to the newsroom because that’s how Melissa, the publisher, know we’re doing our work. I totally forgot to add my name to the photos, though. Oh well. I’ll be putting the photos into a ziplock bag and put a post-it note with my name on it. It was fun printing out the photos, though, since I printed them on photo paper, and I have a photo album that fits them. I think it’ll make a cute mini portfolio. Haha. I guess I’ll show it once I get more photos.
