Kuribayashi Minami & CooRie Mini Concert
I didn’t go to Anime Expo at all this year, but my brother did, so he and his friends took photos at a mini concert that was held by Kuribayashi Minami and CooRie (also known as Rino). My brother seemed to have enjoyed the concert. He said that it was so awesome to hear “Tsubasa wa Pleasure Line” (opening to Chrono Crusade) live. Personally, I think it’s so cool that he got so close to Kuribayashi Minami. Too bad I didn’t go. Maybe I will go next year if Anime Expo brings out even more awesome guests, especially since I think it will be its 20th anniversary. Time sure flies! (These photos turned out to be not bad, huh?! I was pretty impressed! Haha.)
Anime Expo 2009 – Day 2,3,4
I didn’t take a lot of photos at Anime Expo this year. There really isn’t a reason why. I just didn’t. However, I hope you all enjoy the photos nonetheless.
Here’s an “aerial” view of the exhibit hall that was taken in one of the autograph rooms. It was pretty cool to see that many people from such view.
Haha. For some reason, this photo amuses me since they were both on the phone. These cosplayers are from a video game called BlazBlue.
Anime Expo 2009 – Day 0
Today was day 0 of Anime Expo, and it basically is get-your-badge day. It wasn’t fun at all because of the long line that was wrapped many times. The line doesn’t end when you enter indoors right away either. I was getting very thirsty, too, and my brother’s green tea didn’t help because of its sweetness. I got to see Thinzar for a short while, though, and she was giving a few squirts of sun block lotion to the crowd. Haha. My brother also got to talk to her because he wanted to know what’s up with the lines outdoors compared to last year’s indoors. It made me think of what Thinzar told me about Anime Expo doesn’t have the Nokia theatre anymore (I don’t remember when she told me, though), so that the other hall is being used for main events.
After three hours or so, I finally got my Anime Expo badge. It looks nicely printed since it didn’t look like anywhere was missing some detail. And yup, kirchu! Haha. I like how it’s all in caps, though, other than having it like Kirchu. I just think kirchu looks good all capitalized or lowercased.
