Spring break Day #5: New Haircut Again, etc.

New Haircut

I got a new haircut today because my hair was getting longer from the last time I cut it back in January. One of the stylists remembered me only because a part of my hair was sticking out, and the people there couldn’t do anything about it. When she found out it was me, she styled it to help that awkward spot, and it resulted into this style, so now I have bangs! Isn’t it kind of weird? I’m still getting used to it myself. It almost made me think of my brother’s hairstyle, but only my hair is longer than his. Haha. Oh, I also felt the 7.2 earthquake that shook Baja California, Mexico when I was getting my haircut. The people at the salon freaked out. I was just on my seat, seeing how long was the shake since it seemed to be over 10 seconds. I tried calling my brother, but the phone lines were temporarily dead. I really wanted to see how strong was the earthquake, so when I realized it was a 7.2 one, I was pretty shocked. Nothing bad happened here, though. Everything in the house was still the way it was.

I don’t have any photos from this, but I also went out to eat Ajisen Ramen with Demi, Jeff and their friend for dinner. It was a lot of fun. I actually kind of wanted to have photos, but I was having fun just talking to them anyway, and I think that’s better than focusing on just a photo. I get carried away sometimes, so yeah. Oh well. Good day today.

5.0 Earthquake – 137/365

137/365

I was just wondering what to take a photo of earlier since I’m still in the midst of cleaning my room, and then a 5.0 earthquake occured near Los Angeles. I felt the earth shaking for a few good seconds. Then I went on Facebook, and everyone was posting on their status messages about the earthquake. Hence, that’s why mine said: “Another earthquake status update.” Some people went creative with it, though. Here’s one for an example: “Chill folks, it’s just me shakin’ things up.” Other than that, my mom didn’t feel the earthquake. Again. Haha.
