New Haircut
Although I said I liked my last haircut a lot, I liked the one I got yesterday even better–possibly even a thousand times better! You see, I have a lot of hair, so when people do my hair, they’re usually amazed how much and how thick my hair is, and they often do a really bad job at cutting it. It’s really annoying. But I went to another hairstylist this time (since my aunt recommended the place), and the lady there did a very good job! She just kept on layering and layering my hair. I don’t know how much she cut off. I really wanted to see, but it appeared that they swept the floor already when I was done. I was pretty sad. Haha. Anyway, I really like my new haircut! It feels a lot lighter than before, and I don’t know what else. I just like it a lot better. What do you think?
V.ENT Photo Shoot - Outtakes
Yesterday was the V.ENT photo shoot, and it was A LOT of fun. I enjoyed hanging out with them for the entire day. They were all so nice, and they definitely love to be in photos, which made it easier to take photos of them. I took over 600+ photos, and I even ran out of batteries on my camera! Thankfully someone had a Nikon D40x, which used the same batteries as my Nikon D60, so I continued taking more. So, anyway, even though I have to upload at least 570+ photos from the photo shoot and send it to V.ENT, I decide to first post the “outtakes,” which are more of the fun and silly photos of the day/night. Once again, thanks V.ENT for this amazing opportunity!
The background was really just a wall with two lights shining from above. It came out orange-ish, even though when we looked at it in person, it looked more dark red than anything. *shrug* It really made a good background, though. Unfortunately, the electric outlet that’s on the wall can be a huge distraction, but they said it was alright since that’s what Adobe Photoshop is for. Oh, technology…
Halloween
Since Halloween was yesterday, I figured I should blog about it first. So after my dentist appointment in the morning, I went to hang out with Sherry, Sophia, Shirley and Joanne for the rest of the day. We first went to Ralph’s to buy all the food we wanted for barbeque, and Sherry bought a whole lot of drinks. Haha. Then Sherry drove us up to the San Gabriel Mountains.
We got ourselves a table where there was a grill set up for people who wanted to barbecue. This is where we got ourselves a table to sit down and set up what we had. Shirley didn’t want to look at the camera because she was trying to get her 99 cents tiara from the package.
