Snapshots of Flowers
It’s Friday! That means it’s the weekend for me! Yay. On the way back home today, I saw this pretty rose in my mom’s garden, so I immediately grabbed my camera and went to take a few photos of flowers. Actually, these three are all that I took today, hence the whole snapshots of flowers thing. I just snapped it and took it in without really looking at how it looked on the screen. Not too shabby, eh?
The Huntington
Alex and I went to The Huntington today, and thanks to him, I got in for free, whereas it would normally cost about $20 to get in for the day. It had been two or three years that I’ve been here, so I told Alex that I’ll just follow him to wherever he wants to go first. His first decision was to go check out the Chinese garden, and I thought that was a pretty good decision since we were treated with many Chinese temple architecture and bridges.
Brother’s 26th Birthday Dinner
Today’s my brother’s 26th birthday, so my mom, my brother and I went to Chang’s Garden to eat since it had been years we’ve been there. I’ve been starving all day since there weren’t much food in the house, and I couldn’t wait for the food to come. Thankfully the service at the restaurant was fast, even when asked for iced water. The food came quickly, too, and my mom already got some of the food before I even took photos, so I didn’t say anything. It wasn’t until half way when my brother said that I haven’t even taken any photos, but I didn’t mind. I was hungry as heck. I ended taking a photo at our half eaten plates of food for fun. The seaweed fried fish in the back was so delicious.

As we went back home, I saw these roses and went to take a photo of them. Mom really liked it and thought it was unusual for her roses (or she was talking about the left one, at least) to grow like this. It’s too bad that by tomorrow, it’s going to wilt even more. Oh well. Such is nature.
