Two days after graduation, I went to Cal Poly Pomona to check out the Songwriter Showcase! Thinzar’s a big part of it, backstage and on stage, this year, and I went to it last year, too, just about the same time. Thank goodness that Thinzar had her camera because really, stupid me forgot the bring the battery for my camera! You see, I had my camera ready to go and even brought it, but I found out I didn’t even bring my battery. *headdesk* Anyway, the Songwriter Showcase was very enjoyable. They also went and blocked the Nordhoff/Reseda intersection, which is one of the busiest intersections in Northridge. Cops came to tell them to get off the streets. I left around 3 p.m., but I hear the march, protest and rally got even more crazy later at night. A professor and a couple of students even got arrested.
