Tea Station
Avo’s craving for boba last weekend got me craving for some as well. I am actually not too fond of the milk tea as much as I do with Taiwanese green tea, but Tea Station can make it with both milk tea and green tea together, and that is what I ordered. Ee, it was so good! It is now my new favorite drink. Unfortunately, I don’t think a lot of places make it like this.
I had beef noodle soup the last time I came to Tea Station, so I decided to order rice this time. I saw that they had braised pork with bamboo shoots. It sounded good, so I ordered some. The flavors were delicious, but I think it was a little bit too oily for my own tastes. It was kind of expected to be oily because of the part of the pork they used, and bamboos tend to be more oily as well.
You get rice and three random side dishes, depending on the day of the week, which I think it’s pretty nice. I don’t think they’ll tell you what they have unless you ask them or your food gets onto the table, though.

Anime Expo 2009 – Day 2,3,4
I didn’t take a lot of photos at Anime Expo this year. There really isn’t a reason why. I just didn’t. However, I hope you all enjoy the photos nonetheless.
Here’s an “aerial” view of the exhibit hall that was taken in one of the autograph rooms. It was pretty cool to see that many people from such view.
Haha. For some reason, this photo amuses me since they were both on the phone. These cosplayers are from a video game called BlazBlue.
